True Karoo Lamb started with a simple idea: to bring the Karoo's finest lamb directly to South Africans, without the middleman. We work with local family farms in the Great Karoo, where free-range lambs graze on open veld the way it's been done here for generations.

From farm to freezer, nothing is outsourced. Each lamb is blast-frozen at peak freshness, packed into our Half-Lamb Box — roughly 10kg of premium cuts — and delivered straight to your door anywhere in South Africa. No cold chain breaks, no supermarket shelves. Just honest Karoo lamb, the way it should be.
THE SOURCE
The Karoo is unlike anywhere else. A vast, semi-arid landscape where the veld is made up of wild shrubs, succulents, and indigenous grasses. Lambs that graze here develop a flavour you simply can't replicate — richer, cleaner, distinctly Karoo. Every animal is free-range, hormone-free, and hand-selected for quality.
